Started out at the Temple Mount where the Dome of the Rock now is. It was constructed in 690 AD after the Muslims conquered the city. Somewhere in this area was where David built his altar (around 1000 BC) when Israel was in power.
Looking upon the "Hill of Corruption" where Solomon built palaces for his foreign wives, right near the Mount of Olives.
Potter's Field or "Field of Blood." The parcel of land bought by the chief priests with the 30 pieces of silver Judas betrayed Jesus with. Check it out in Matthew 27:1-8
The Temple Steps near the southern wall. Some of these steps are originals that Jesus actually sat and taught on!
After praying at the Western Wall, the holiest place in Judaism.
Possible site of Golgotha, Place of the Skull, where Jesus was crucified. We were told that Romans actually crucified people on roads, not on hills so it would most likely have been where the bus station now is...
The Garden Tomb (another possible site). "He is not here, for He is risen"
Thanks for reading. Blessings to all and to all a good night!
We now have photos of four generations visiting the Garden Tomb. Parks, Parks, Sandberg, Rice.
